Energy Management Rebate Program

Important:
2012 Energy Management Rebate Program claims should be submitted within 30 days of unit placement. Member must supply REMC with all documents and information specified on the rebate form.

To support a system-wide deployment of REMC's Energy Management Program, REMC will install a DRU switch on the new unit(s) - free of charge - before issuing a rebate check. Heating and cooling systems are required to meet SEER or EER ratings listed below. SEER ratings will not be rounded to a higher equivalent. All rebate amounts are subject to change within calendar year.

To install as a dual fuel system either replacing an existing air conditioner or an existing heat pump or installing a gas dual fuel system in a new home.

Air Source Heat Pump (Replacing Electric Resistance Heat):

To replace an electric furnace, electric ceiling cable heat, baseboard electric heat or any type of wall electric heaters where the total heating needs of the home are being met by electric resistance heating units.
