RATE 901 LARGE THREE PHASE PRIMARY METERED SERVICE ABOVE 750KVA AVAILABILITY Available to any member where transformer capacity is 750 KVA or greater and is located in the REMC's service area and located adjacent to an electric transmission or distribution line of the REMC's that is adequate and suitable for supplying required service. Not applicable as standby service. CHARACTER OF SERVICE Multi-phase, sixty (60) Hertz at the approximate standby voltages; 277/480 volts 4-wire; 7,200/12,470 volts; or other voltages as may be mutually agreeable. MONTHLY RATE
DETERMINATION OF BILLING DEMAND The billing demand shall be the maximum kilowatt load used by the member for any period of fifteen (15) consecutive minutes during the month for which the billing is rendered as indicated on record by a maximum load meter installed by the REMC. An adjustment for power factor as provided below shall be provided. POWER FACTOR The consumer agrees to maintain unity power factor as nearly as practical. The REMC reserves the right to measure such power factor at any time. Should such measurements indicate that the power factor is less than 93 percent, the demand for billing purposes will be adjusted for average monthly lagging power factor by multiplying the demand as indicated or recorded on the demand meter by 93 percent and divided by the percent power factor. MINIMUM MONTHLY CHARGE The minimum monthly charge shall be the highest of the following: 1. The specified contract amount, or 2. Charges as outlined under Determination of Billing demand plus metered energy. METERING The metering will be at the REMC's primary service (7.2/12.47 kV). The customer shall own, operate, and maintain all facilities on customer side of meter. CONDITION OF SERVICE
RATE ADJUSTMENT The above rates are subject to a Purchased Power Cost Adjustment Tracking Factor as stated in Appendix A.
